2018 Juried Undergraduate Exhibition

The work in this annual exhibition is a selection of the best submissions from all four years of undergraduate students. From hundreds of entries, approximately 100 will be chosen in a variety of disciplines based on artistic merit, creativity, and vision.

This year, Myrtis Bedolla and Stephen Towns will serve as jurors. Bedolla is founding director of Galerie Myrtis, a contemporary fine art gallery and art advisory located in Baltimore, Maryland. Voted, Best Gallery by the Baltimore Sun in 2017, Bedolla has also been featured in BMORE Art magazine, Issue 3, Living with Art: Myrtis Bedolla Builds a Home and Gallery in Old Goucher and in the Baltimore Style Magazine, October 2013 issue Women in the Arts which honored women at the helm of the Baltimore art scene.

Based out of Baltimore, Maryland, Mixed-Media Artist, Stephen Towns was raised in Lincolnville, South Carolina. Towns primarily works in oil, acrylic, and fiber drawing much of his visual inspiration comes from medieval altarpieces, Impressionist paintings and wax cloth prints. His work has been exhibited at the Baltimore Museum of Art, Arlington Arts Center, Galerie Myrtis, Gallery CA, and is in the permanent collection of Art + Practice, artist Mark Bradford’s non profit based in Leimert Park, Los Angeles, The permanent collection of The Baltimore Museum of Art and the City of Charleston, South Carolina, and private collections in the states and abroad.
