A wonderfully positive discussion about women-led movements and ways to be intersectional in those movements. Definitely worth attending!

Amazing! I felt so honored to be able to see Shirin talk about her work and her process. I hope MICA will invite more great artists to lecture in the future!

An extremely on time, sharp, funny and informative presentation! All four authors were great - and the presentation was visually wonderful. Great stories about what it takes to write a book, a look at design as storytelling, Futura as the font you do (not) want to use, and more. Fast-paced, very engaging and over in 45 minutes - followed by the opportunity to purchase their books and get signatures.

The interview event between Baltimore's own Ms. Maria Broom and the inimitable Ballerina (with a capital B) Misty Copeland with a must see! I purchased her book " Ballerina Body" and much to my surprised to remained to personally sign every 500+ books that were presented to her. She is a delight! Thanks for that joyous opportunity!!!

John Waters was excellent. He provided levity, wit, and humor to our diversity conversation, and Sammy was a great host!
